A new way to shop for quality made doll clothes, from the creators of Libberty Jane!

As a Liberty Jane partner I am so excited to share with you a new way to shop for quality made doll clothes and more on a newly launched site called http://dollabee.com/ . Here doll clothes makers can list their products with out a listing fee. This site works allot like Craigs list and is all doll related. I am thrilled to have found this new way to market my products and find other amazing doll  clothes crafters and designers.
I have joined and love the idea of listing products with out a fee.  I have added the information from the Dollabee page so you can find out all about Dollabee and I hope you will visit the site soon!
About Dollabee:
When people want to sell their American Girl Doll, (or any other doll), they go to EBay, or Craigslist, or put on a garage sale. But these marketplaces aren’t ideal, because the potential buyers are few and far between, and might not know the fair value of the item.
When families want to sell original American Girl brand, (or any other manufactured/branded), clothing they go to EBay or Craigslist.
When artisans and seamstresses want to sell custom made/couture clothing for dolls, they go to those places, and/or Etsy.
We thought – there has to be a better way!
We frequently hear that EBay is too expensive, and that Etsy doesn’t give enough time or attention to the doll clothes category. And of course you can’t list your old Josefina doll on Etsy, so it’s not a complete solution for sellers. And Craigslist is not ideal for the doll collector community for a whole bunch of reasons. Again, we thought – there has got to be a better way! What would an ideal marketplace look like? We’ll we would need a Craigslist-type-site – that is exclusively focused on Dolls – that is fun and inviting! So that is what we’ve built.
Dollabee is a classifieds website similar to Craigslist, but exclusively for dolls, doll clothes, and accessories. We are limiting the items permitted to exclude mass manufactured items that are not original/branded items. In other words, we want this to be a place for 1) Collectors selling their original doll items, or 2) Seamstresses and artisans selling custom/couture clothing and accessories. Basically yeah – we don’t want any low quality mass manufactured items.
The listing price is free, like Craigslist. But if you want to have a featured listing – it’s $5 for a week.
As with Craigslist – you can list your item and sell it directly using Paypal to finish the transaction with your customer, (This is very cost effective). Or, if you want, you can continue to list things on EBay or Etsy, then come to Dollabee and create a listing. In that way, Dollabee can become a central marketplace for customers – regardless of where they might finish the transaction.

As with all my posts I would love to hear from you so please leave me a comment here or email me at karenmowen@gmail.com
